2015 ARM Annual Convention Dec. 1 & 2

Did you know ARM is 65 this year? Our 2015 ARM Convention will feature great sessions and a reception celebrating our 65th anniversary. We have invited our past presidents to take part in this celebration!

Day 1 is designed for members, their plant managers but also - NEW - your favorite ready mix customers.* Bring them to our session on value selling so they can boost their bottom line and yours. They can stay for lunch, too.

Allison Carrigan from LafargeHolcim's Customer Excellence division will lead this session about sellling "value:" benefits vs features. She'll be joined by three associate members who will describe the benefits of color, fibers, and cure and seal.

Maria Masten and Wendy Garr from the MnDOT Concrete Office will cover implementation of contractor mix designs; producer responsibilities and expectations, and changes to the 2016 Spec Book and Schedule of Materials Control for Sampling and Testing.

And Terry Beaudry of MnDOT will offer a general review of aggregate specifications for base and subbase for the 2016 spec book, and an update for potential changes to the 2018 spec book.

At 5:00pm we will honor Jerry Lang, our Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, followed by our 65th Anniversary Celebration.

Day 2 will be focused on members. Look for updates from our lobbyists regarding truck weight legislation, sessions on our promotion efforts, and our annual membership meeting at 11:00am.
